Because every Open Shelf book is a thoughtfully wrapped blind date, all sales are final.

Part of the fun is the surprise, which means we aren’t able to offer returns or exchanges based on genre, title, or personal preference. Think of it like opening a gift: once it’s unwrapped, it’s yours to enjoy (or pass along to a friend!).

That said, we absolutely want you to love what you receive.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your book arrives damaged in transit or you receive the wrong item, please email us within 7 days of delivery at openshelfbooks@gmail.com with:

• your order number

• a photo of the damage or issue

We’ll happily offer store credit or a replacement, whichever makes the most sense.

Gifting Tip

Not your vibe? Blind dates make great gifts, swaps with friends, or additions to your “to be read” stack for later.
